Minam Lodge, NE Oregon

Another family trip to the high country found us at Minam Lodge in the Eagle Cap Wilderness of N.E. Oregon.

Minam Lodge is accessed via foot or horseback, 7.5 miles one way or by small plane on their valley, grass, airstrip. The scenery is supurb and I would walk in on my hands for the food. We were there for a family function, ages 8 to 75, and everyone enjoyed the horseback riding, hiking and goofing off. There are fish in the Minan River but we might have been there a bit early for the best fishing. This is a great place for equestrians, hikers and pilots.
