The Umbrella Hook is here! Swede’s has the exclusive on these amazing pieces of H80C High Carbon Steel wire designed just for dry flies. The hooks are very strong and incredibly sharp built to act as a “keel” to automatically keep the fly upright. The parachute hackle is tied on below the body of the fly, giving the additional support on the surface of the water. The body can be from just about any dry fly material, deer or elk hair, foam, dubbing or even a single feather as illustrated in the picture.

What’s really cool is the position of the hook suspended just below the fly. When the fish takes the fly, the hook is the first thing that catches in their mouth allowing for instant hookups.

The sizes of hooks come in small (S) covering sizes 20, 18 and 16. Medium (M) covers sizes 16, 14 and 12. Large (L) covers 12, 10 and 8. There is also a midge size that covers 22, 24 and 26.
