TROUT ANGLER TRAVEL CHECKLIST  Essential Gear:

-         Fly Rods (8’ to 9’#4/5 to 9’ #7/8)

-         Fly Reels w/extra spools

-         Extra fly lines (floating, sink tips type 2 and 4, shooting heads type 2 and 6

Teeny type 200 to 400 gr)

-         Flies and Fly boxes

-         Leader material (5X to 0X)

-         Leaders 9’ for floating lines, 5’ to 7’ for sink tips or sinking lines

-         Pliers

-         Nipper, knife

-         Polarized sunglasses + extra pair

-         Sun Screen, lip balm

-         Waders (breathable), boots and gravel guards

-         Camera, film and extra batteries

-         Stripping basket

-         Vest

  Essential clothing

-         Clothing should be lightweight, comfortable and dry quickly

-         Long pants, convertible pants

-         Vest (inflatable if possible)

-         Gore-Tex rain gear

-         Short and long sleeve shirts

-         Hat or cap

-         Hiking boots or sneakers

-         Folding staff

-         Thermal underwear

-         Fleece jackets
