Bogachiel is in poor9shape and running at 27.30 with 0 ft of vis and stil going up.
With a drying trend headed our way this will turn right around and fish should be great.
Fish spread out from the the unde road all the way to the mouth.
Best techniques have been pulling plugs or float fishing and with the rise in the water sidedrifting will be good again.
Plugs in the X-4 flatfish have been the best with silver, flame red, cop car, green hornet, Dr. Death, blue streak and flounder being the best colors.
Floats and jigs or bait have been producing the most fish for us. The Aero Jig in Pink, Pink/Peach, Pink/white, Cerise or the Nightmare have been the best colors.
Eggs under a float have been working great. Make sure to put cheater bait weight on top of the eggs to help keep in the fishing zone.
Sidedrifting will best with two double 4 hooks and a flame, chart red dot, rainbow or chart green dot corkie in the middle. Both eggs and prawns have been producing equally as good.
Remember that above the 101 bridge it is selective gear rules which means no bait, no scent, single barbless hooks and no retension of wild fish.

Bogachiel is in good shape running at 27.57 with 4 ft of vis.
Water is starting to drop nicely and clearing up from the snow melt. Fish spread out from top to bottom. Plenty of wild fish around moving through the system. Seems to be more higher up in the river. There are still a few hatchery fish around but the wild fish are taking over.
Best techniques have been pulling plugs in both T-4 and X-4 sizes. Use Silver, Flame red, Flame red black dots, White Red, Cop Car, Green Hornet and green weenie or Flounder.
Sidedrifting has also been producing quite well drifting from 101 to wilsons.
Above the 101 bridge the fishing has been quite good. Remember that it is selective regulations above the bridge so no bait, no scent, Single barbless hooks and no retention of wild fish.
The best techniques above the bridge have been floats and worms or jigs. Mad river worms in Bubble gum Pink and Flour red have been the best colors. Try a 4" worm with a 1/8 oz white jig with a pink or cerise worm.
Fishing should be real good with the fish spread out as the level drops it will only get better.
