Calawah in great shape running at 563 cfs and clear with 7 ft of vis.
Getting to low to float now, so it is a walk in show for a while. Fish in afternoons for the best bites in this cold weather.
Getting very low and clear with the cold weather. Go very small in your offerings and concentrate on the slower deeper holes in the cold water.
Lots of hatchery steelhead stretched out from just above hatchery down to confluence with the Bogachiel.
The best technique has been floats. Floats and jigs have doing very well with colors like pink, pink/white, pink/purple , black/red and pink/peach. Both the Aero Jig marabou series and the beau mac beaded series have been working very well.
Floats and bait have been producing well with floats and Shrimp or prawns being the best.
Should stay real good until early January with the peak around Christmas.
