We are pretty well blown out for a few days. The smaller feeders blew up yesterday and it's getting worse today-forcast is for some cooler temps and it should come back in pretty fast (knock on wood). Prior to that the fishing was fair to good on the Clearwater and about the same on the Snake in the upper portion (Hells Canyon). This flush of water will probably move some more fish up from the reservoirs and if it levels out soon enough we may see some good fishing for a few days.

The recent cold snap pretty much shut us down for the past couple of weeks on the Clearwater, but it is finally looking up-during the cold weather Dworshak Dam released a fair amount of water for power generation and the next few days should bring another increase in flows as the snow melts. We expect to start seeing good numbers of fish in the system as soon as the flows drop back to normal-this could be the best fishing of the entire season.
