Sol Duc River - February 4th, 2008
supplied by: Angler's Guide Service
RECORDED:
40 °
FISHING: Great
Sol Duc in great shape with 6 ft of vis and 3 boards.
Both Hatchery and Wild fish spread out through the system.
Best techniques so far have been sidedrifting bait. Fish small egg clusters behind a small cheater and Double hooks or floats and jigs in your standard steelhead colors.
Fish are starting to slow down and hold in your classic steelhead water but make sure you still fish the pockets as there are still fish on there way up to the higher reaches and on the move.
This is only going to get better as the weeks unfold.
