FISHING: Good
Fish are entering the river in good numbers. Still your number one bet are streamers and small nymphs on SA Stillwater lines. Try tricos and soft hackles. There is not much dry fly action as of yet. Dries should be coming in late August or September. Safe standby flies are seal buggers with a soft hackle trailer. Zonkers and Carey Specials are staring to work. I definitely recommend fluorocarbon 4X to seal bugger with 5X tippet to the soft hackle trailer.

FISHING: Great
Fishing is great. Streamers and small nymphs are still most productive. There is very little dry fly action at this time but tricos and caddis are where its at for the drys. We are seeing a few bwo's as well.

Fishing is fair. Fish are stale and we are in need of a patch of weather to stimulate the hatches. Streamers and small nymphs are most productive. There is very little dry fly action at this time.

FISHING: Good
Fishing is fair to good. Water level is dropping. Hatches of little Yellow Sallies and Golden Stones are working well. You may also want to try Golden Stone nymphs, Anato Mays in olive and rust and Copper Johns in natural and red, and soft -hackle caddis patterns. You may have some luck on mini leech patterns size 10s and 12s.

FISHING: Great
Lower Williamson River: Fishing is good. Hatches of little Yellow Sallies and Golden Stones are working well. You may also want to try Golden Stone nymphs, Anato Mays in olive and rust and Copper Johns in natural and red. A few tricos are showing and light caddis in the morning. The Hex hatch has started so plan to stay out late!

Upper Williamson River: Fishing is fair. Expect the black drake hatch in early June to heat up the activity some.
Lower Williamson River: Now open though flows are very high and fishing has been slow.

Closed to angling below Kirk bridge until May 24.
Williamson River (Upper): redband trout
High water flows and cold water temperatures will make it tough. Snow is blocking some areas.
