Small brook - Big fish. (click image for detail) |
I think that even more in the pursuit of their contents, fly-fishermen visit the Danish streams in search of solitude and freedom.
Fly fishing in Denmark has become extremely popular and diverse over the recent years, which attracts anglers from all over Europe and beyond. The reason is the abundance of brooks and streams all over the Jutland peninsula, which all have personalities of their own, resulting in enormous diversity and charm. The fishing is certainly challenging especially in some of the brooks but all water courses offer a sense of timelessness and solitude or perhaps it is simply the fact that Denmark is truly beautiful and a fly fishing heaven for the angler seeking quality, truth and adventure.
Distant Streams fulfils a dream of enabling us to share these passions with you. Full instruction is available from the beginner seeking to expand his or her new discovery, to the more experienced angler wanting to brush up on those already acquired skills. Ripley Davenport is known for his patience and clear uncomplicated instruction with many years of experience and knowledge, he is dedicated to your success and enjoyment. Dry fly and nymphing techniques are his specialty.
Full casting instruction, riverside Entomology, stalking, presentation, and reading the water are all included. In addition, Catch and Release ethics and the careful handling of fish are detailed, which extends ethical consideration to the fragile eco-system. We guarantee you you will leave with a positive attitude and memories of a holiday you'll want to come back too.
