Panhandle Outfitters Inc.

Idaho's St. Joe River

Few fisherman realize that the remnant populations of Cutthroat trout are now only found in less than 2% of our western rivers. Panhandle will guide you back to the days of Lewis and Clark where today you can still find pristine river conditions and experience wild native cutthroat. If continuous dry fly action is your pleasure it's the trademark of these prized fish.
North Idaho's St. Joe River is nationally classified as a Wild and Scenic River. This freestone river fishery offers some of the highest quality and most scenic fishing in the west. Panhandle Outfitters offers over 70 miles of uncrowded river solitude with guides attentive to you fly-fishing requirements. For accommodations we feature a deluxe western style wall tent camp with hot showers, friendly campfires and Dutch oven cuisine. We also provide transportion from hotels in Coeur d'Alene ID, or Spokane WA.  All our guides are licensed professionals and we fish other area famous rivers in Montana including the Clark Fork River and Kootenai River.
