Women's Flyfishing offers on the water fly fishing schools and guided trips for women and couples to locations all around Alaska for salmon, trout, Arctic grayling, Dolly Varden char, pike, and sheefish. We help beginners, novices, and experienced anglers become proficient with both light and heavy fly rods, and we provide all the gear, equipment and flies for all our schools and trips.

Location:
Women's Flyfishing is located in Anchorage, Alaska, but we offer guided fly fishing trips for women and couples to locations all around Alaska.

Inclusions:
All of our school and trips include gear, equipment, and flies as well as fly fishing instruction.

Accomodations:

Transportation:
Anglers make their own travel arrangements to Anchorage. Several of our trips include transportation to the fishing location from Anchorage. For those that do not, we will advise on the most convenient travel methods. See http://www.womensflyfishing.net/brochure.html for information on all 2005 trips.

Nearby activities and attractions:
The Anchorage area holds a myriad of activities and opportunities for fly fishers traveling to our area. Museums, The Alaska Native Heritage Center, The Alaska Zoo, and many other attractions are available. Visit http://www.anchorage.net/ for information. Our trip to Nome permits exploration of Alaska's Gold Rush History, our trip to the Brooks River permits bear watching, and other trips offer lots of wildlife and scenic views.  

Season:
Our fresh-water fly fishing trips  in Alaska begin with float tubing in May, and continue through June, July, August & September. Each March/April we also offer saltwater fly fishing trips to Mexico.

Water/Weather Conditions:
Vary with the trip and the season.

Equipment Used:
Our clients use only the best equipment-Sage fly rods, Ross reels, and Scientific Angler fly lines. For float tubing we use Buck's Bags. We provide all the gear, equipment and flies for all our trips.

Deposit:
A 50% deposit is required when booking trips. We recommend trip insurance to our clients.

Documentation required:
Our clients must complete a registration form and a liability release form when booking.
