A unique chance to experience the natural rivers and streams that populate the Dzukija National Park, which covers 10,587 hectares, 85% is forest cover, which is known for considerable numbers of elk, deer, wild boar, wolves and foxes. This beautiful landscape is scoured by 40 to 50 metre valleys.
Exclusive packages to the Neris river, Merky's river, Ula river, Salcia river, Zeimena river and the Visincia river plus many other small streams and brooks holding brown trout, sea trout, salmon and record sized grayling.
Most rivers and streams we will fish have never seen an artificial fly and are well of the beaten track so no angling pressure is also guaranteed.

February to April can be very cold, wet so some warm clothing is necessary with a waterproof warm jacket and thermal under clothes..
A rod class 4 to 6 will suit most situations with a double taper / weight forward - floating flyline. A rod class 7 to 9 with a sinking tip can be used for those interested in sea trout and salmon fishing.
Flies will be supplied but you may bring your own. A full list of patterns will be provided on booking. Hook sizes can vary from 2 to 24 depending on season and conditions. Other information: We'll be honest with you - Lithuania is quality fishing. Having one of our guides with you is the utmost of importance. They know the country, rivers and what to use and how. They can spot the fish - which at times - can be difficult to see.
There are so many rivers, streams and brooks in Lithuania that it would take a lifetime to experience them all. The waters are well of the beaten track and untouched, set hidden in forests and valleys. Most if not all - have crystal clear waters where browns average 3 to 4lb with 5lb+ a common sight. Grayling are the jewel reaching up to 2lb+. Sea trout and salmon reach double figures and offer additional excitement and game. Full instruction is available from the beginner seeking to expand his or her new discovery, to the more experienced angler wanting to brush up on those already acquired skills.
Ripley Davenport is known for his patience and clear uncomplicated instruction with many years of experience and knowledge. Dry fly and nymphing techniques are his specialty.. Choosing the right fly is essential along with careful presentation. Every fish is a testament to the fine waters of Lithuania.
