Awake aboard our 115 foot mothership and fish sunrise to sunset on your own assigned 28 foot sport fishing boat with a captain and mate through the fishing grounds of Isla Coiba, Ilsa Montousa, Islas Jicaron and Jicarita, Isla Secas, Isla Contreras and Islas Ladrones all located in the Gulf of Chirigui.
Renowned fishing for Blue and Black Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, Dorado, Roosterfish, Wahoo plus large Groupers and Snappers.

Location:
Join us on the Pacific side of Panama and fish the legendary Gulf of Chiriqui.

Inclusions:
VIP from Panama City airport and back. Our price includes two nights hotel in Panama City, all transfers, round trip airfare from Panama City to David, Panama, 3 meals a day while aboard ship, beverages, double occupancy cabins, and everything fishing. Arrive on Friday, fish 1/2 day Saturday, full days Monday through Thursday, another 1/2 day on Friday and return home Saturday of your chosen week.

Accomodations:
The Coral Star is a 115 foot live-aboard Mother-ship Operation, our "floating lodge". Individually controlled A/C rooms including two master staterooms with queen size beds and full bath on the main deck, and six  cabins on the lower deck with portholes, sink and vanity, private shower and toilet. She has 3 teak decks; a canopy covered sundeck with lounge chairs and our famous "Fantail Bar". Fresh seafood dinners each night!!!!

Transportation:
Fly into Panama City, Panama and we will take care of the rest of your journey.

Nearby activities and attractions:
Panama City tours including the Panama Canal. Day fishing charters available for peacok bass, tarpon and snook upon request.

Season:
We fish December through August of each season. Peak season for billfish is December through April, with prime months being January -March. Yellowfin Tuna become abundant during the months of February-May, with the over 200 lb tunas more abundant during March and April.
Hannibal Bank rises from over 3,000 ft deep to 124 ft in less than 21/2 miles. The shallowest spot is marked by a pinnacle 200' tall which is home to schools of Black Marlin and giant Yellowfin Tuna. This little fishing hole is our cruising grounds.

Water/Weather Conditions:
The average temperature is 80 degrees F with very mild seas and no humidity.

Equipment Used:
Our fleet consists of  7 sport fising boats from 28-34 feet. Penn Internationals and Avet 2 speed reels from 20 -80's along with assorted spin and fly fishing tackle.

Rates:
Prime season - January through April starting from $3150 pp.
Off  Season - December, May through August starting from $2350 pp.

The above prices start at David, Panama. Contact me for personal travel options. Prices depend on number of anglers per individual sport fishing boat. The maximum is 4 anglers.
"Exclusive pricing" available to charter the entire mothership for your private group.
 

 

Deposit:
25% deposit at time of booking with the balance due 60 days prior to your charter date. We accept MC, Visa and Discover.

Other information:
$5.00 entry fee and a $20.00 departure fee collected at the Panana City airport.
