Saving The World Fly Fishing Co. is based out of West Yellowstone, MT, we are an outfitting business specializing in guiding and teaching anglers of all ages and skill levels as well as traveling to exotic and fabled angling destinations.  The goal of the school is to introduce you to fly fishing and arm you with the skills necessary to fly fish on your own.  We are very flexible when it comes to designing a class to fit your needs.   

Location:
We are based out of West Yellowstone, Montana which is surrounded by perfect waters for teaching anglers how to fish with a fly and improve upon existing angling skills.

Season:
We teach in Montana from June-October. 

Rates:
2 day school (6 hours/day):
 
Our 2 day on the water school is designed to give you a solid understanding of the fly fishing basics.  We cover equipment and gear, casting, basic entomology and fly selection, common fishing techniques, reading the water and proper angling etiquette. In short, everything you need to begin practicing the sport on your own. 
 
This School is offered for 2-10 students at $250 per person / per school.  We include equipment, flies, instructional booklet, and lunches. 
 
 
3 hour open session:
 
We will customize this course to meet your specific needs.  This session takes place on the water and might be designed to include:  dry fly techniques, nymph techniques, streamer techniques, soft-hackle and wet fly techniques, fishing and casting with sink-tip fly lines, or anything else you want to work on specifically.

1 or 2 anglers ……………………$150 
 
 
Casting Course (3 hours)
 
This course deals only with fly-casting.  We start you with the basics and by the end of the session have you shooting line.  We cover the basic pick up and lay down cast, roll cast, false casting and how to use it, shooting line, and, if there is time, some specialty casts.  Not only will you learn a variety of casts but also how to apply them on the water in fishing situations.  Anglers with little or no experience typically take this course; those who have done some casting, but want to improve on a specific type or technique of casting may benefit more from the 1 hour lesson.
 
1 or 2 anglers……………………$150
Each additional student…………$50
(6 student maximum)
 
 
Casting Lessons:
 
This course is designed to help anglers improve their skills in a specific area of fly casting.  We teach all skill levels and can focus on either single or double handed methods of fly casting.  Being a competent caster will make your fishing experiences more enjoyable.  
 
$60/hour                                


Deposit:
We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.  Cancellations made 2 weeks prior to scheduled date will be given a full refund.  Last minute cancellations will forfeit deposit.
