Customer comments:

Colin and I wanted to thank you for the great time on the river on Saturday. We recounted stories all the way home, and we needed stories to kill the time for 900 plus long miles from Boise. Again, thanks for making for such a good time. Your river is a wonderful secret (fast getting out) and the consistent size of the fish was amazing. We look forward to another trip where we only lose the first three before we start landing them and Colin wants to meet Stuie up close. Best wishes, Chris and Colin ccareschris@comcast.net

Sunday, 6/5/05, 2:27 AM   Dave, I am Mark Gustofsons father in law that you took fishing with Mark May 24th. I want to thank you for a great time. I learned a lot and we applied that when we went back on Memorial day. It was very crowded and so we had to fish in areas that we hadn't been in before. We didn't have as much success as we did with you but we didn't expect to. Most of my lost fish were due to knots untying and that is really unusual for me but I hadn't tied on tippet or hooks in exactly a year. Practice, practice practice. We did well enough to go home with a smile on our faces. I hope to engage your services again in the future. I want to get my wife on the river again and Mark has been talking about getting my daughter on the water with your wife. Have to get our house sold in California before we can afford to use you much but I still hope to get her on the water soon. Do you have an opinion of the Middle Fork of the Boise in July or is the Owyhee still a better bet? Thanks again, John Sanda

Casey Wednesday, 5/11/05, 8:37 AM   We had an incredible time on Saturday and we feel that we learned so much. Thank you for your time and instruction. We are so excited to see some pictures too (from you and Jim).   From: Eagle, ID

Thursday, 10/14/04, 7:34 AM   I really wanted to let you know that the Memories of that trip will stay with me for a long time and cumulatively let you know how much Fun I had while attending your Spey Casting Clinic! Thanks alot for having the class on a fantastic river. I really enjoyed the whole time I was there. It brought back fond memories of fishing the Henrys fork while wading across the Rhonde, and if you hear from Terry and Jeff, give them my "best"! I enjoyed fishing with Terry! I really liked talking to Rhonda, she is very knowledgeable on spey casting and I continue to pray she feels better! Sincerely, Clark Lucas Silviculturist-Forester Steelhead and Salmon Fly Tier Spey and Dee-Winged flies

Tom Old Thursday, 10/14/04, 7:33 AM   Thanks for a great class and lunch this past week- end. I would like to see if we can book a trip for may 7th, 2005 for Tim and I. This is a Saturday and Tim's 18th birthday. Thanks again Tom PS: I will look for another trip to the Grande Ronde next fall.

Bob Tamura Monday, 9/20/04, 5:03 PM   Dave/Jeff- I just wanted to say thanks for leading us to all of the big fish we caught a few weeks ago on the Owyhee! I knew we were in trouble when we were tired after just the first day of landing those "boat anchors". Great guidance, conversation, food, scenery and big fish. We also fished the South Fork....slow, very slow and the Big Wood....lots of action with dry flies. I recommended a few neighbors to you, who are interested. thanks- Bob Tamura   From: Coppell, TX 75019 E-mail: tamuracreative@comcast.net

Dr. Todd & Stacey Jamison Friday, 7/9/04, 1:13 PM   Jeff and Clint: My wife's intentions to read a book while I fished were interrupted by the 25" and 27" Owyhee Browns dragging her around the river! Thanks for putting us on to the largest and most beautiful trout I have seen in 31 years of flyfishing. Your knowledge of the fish species, stream entymology and surrounding canyon added to the experience. Sincerely, Todd M. Jamison P.S. My wife is now thumbing through my flyfishing catalogs! We have a new convert.   From: Pataskala, Ohio E-mail: jamisont@denison.edu

Martin Smith Monday, 6/21/04, 7:48 AM   Wow, what an experience on the Owyhee River. I never realized what a catch I had until I shared it with my buddies. A 26" brown trout for this beginer in one heck of a way to learn the sport. Thanks you guys for a wonderful time, I'm looking forward to steelehead fishing with you on the Grand Rond Be well, Marty   From: San Jose, CA

Rick Skinner Wednesday, 3/24/04, 12:34 PM   Thank you, Dave and Rhonda. You both did great work in guiding and taking care of us. I know I learned a great deal more about steelhead fishing ( I consider it 3 1/2 days of post graduate work!).   E-mail: rskinner@skinnerfawcett.com

Terry Kowallis Sunday, 9/28/03, 9:25 PM   Fishing with Dave Tucker is like fishing with your best fishing buddy. The difference being that Dave will work his butt off to get you into fish, and make it look easy. He has guided me on several trips in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. I always learn something new every time I fish with Dave. Whether it's when to go where, how to read the water, fly selection, line selection, or even how to spey cast, there is always something to learn to make you a better angler. I personally credit Dave for every steelhead and salmon I have ever caught, with him and on my own. I am confident that once you fish with Dave, you will end the trip with a smile on your face and be looking forward to the next time. Whether it's your first time fishing for steelhead or you're a seasoned veteran I can not recommend Dave enough. Terry Kowallis Boise, Idaho   From: Boise, ID E-mail: TRKOWALLIS@aol.com

We¿d love to make this a yearly junket for Devin. If you have any programs for older kids, I think my 16 y.o. would love to join you for a trip as well. He LOVES to fly fish, and has a bit more experience. More of an advanced level I would imagine. Thanks again for your wonderful opportunity. Sue
