You will be fishing the Great Lakes most consistent and productive waters from April into November for King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, Steelhead, and Brown Trout.
Fish in comfort aboard a giant 35 foot Northern Bay, that was custom made for Capt. Chip in 2005. This boat is laid out for fishing and cruises faster than any other major charter boat on Lake Michigan. This means we can travel further faster, and get to more fish and spend more time fishing for them, than other charter services.
Capt. Chip is the countries most known fisherman on the Great Lakes having authored books, produced videos, and starred in television shows that have aired on nearly every network and ESPN, nationally.

Located just an hour north of Chicago and 45 minutes from Milwaukee, literally hundreds of yards from the Illinois/Wisconsin border in the town of Winthrop Harbor, IL on the shores of Lake Michigan

Being almost centrally located between Chicago and Milwaukee, your options for entertainment are nearly endless. There's three professional baseball teams within reach, concert and park facilities, Six Flags Great America, one of the countries biggest theme parks, is minutes from the harbor, and one of Bass Pro's flagship stores is right across the highway from there.

Capt. Chip uses all top of the line Shimano brand rods and reels that he helped design. All you need to bring is whatever you'd like to eat and drink for the day, along with a cooler to take home your filet's in.
Licenses for either state are available right on the boat.
Rates:
5 Hour Charter $435*
6 Hour Charter $505*
8 Hour Charter $645*
These rates are for the complete boat, not per person. Coast Guard Laws limit Great Lakes charter boats to 6 persons per boat maximum. If you have groups larger than 6, it's no problem, we'll take care of all the details getting you another top flight, qualified Captain and vessel for your excursion.
*Add an additional $30 for weekend dates (Fri/Sat/Sun)
Deposit:
A deposit of $100 per charter day is required to hold your reservation. Deposits are fully refundable more than 14 days in advance of your trip. Documentation required:
Fishing licenses for either state are available right on the boat for an additional fee.
Illinois 1 day license $6 per person
Wisconsin 2 day license $14 per person
We will decide the day of your charter whether we will fish Illinois or Wisconsin waters. Licenses for both states will not be required.
