Winthrop Harbor, Il. just north of Chicago. It is well known as one of the best and most beautiful harbors on all of the Great Lakes!

There are numerous hotels within blocks of the harbor that provide comfortable and clean accomadations. Directions:
Exit I-94 east on Rt.173, continue east to Rt. 137. Go north to 7th ave. and turn right. (WATCH YOUR SPEED) At the stop sign turn left and go to the next stop sign and turn right. Follow it around to the drop off area and parking. Walk down to AB dock, slip # 8. Nearby activities and attractions:
Wether you go north or south there are many great restaurants, bars and places to shop. There is the newest Gander Mountain in Kenosha, one of the largest Bass Pro's in Gurnee Mills which also has a very large shopping mall surrounding it. And for the kids or the kid in you the Six Flags Great America theme park is just down the road.
Season:
Our season runs April through October. Water/Weather Conditions:
Temperatures on Lake Michigan are very unpredictable. While the temperature at the dock might be 80 degrees, two miles off shore it could be in the mid 50's. This is aspecially true in May and September. Bring along a sweater, jacket, and slacks or pants just in case. Rain gear is recommended if weather condition warrant. The Morning Affair has a completly enclosed cabin for those not so perfict days, but you do have to go out to catch your fish. Equipment Used:
Capt. Ken uses all top quality state of the art tackle and electronics which include electic downriggers,electronic fish locators, Fish Hawk temperature and speed probes, GPS navigation, 24 mile Radar, Auto Pilot and multiple Mariane Radio's. Fishing licenses are available and can be purchaced right on the boat. Rates:
Weekday rates run from $250.00-$500.00
Weekend rates run from $375.00-$525.00

Multi boat trips available for groups larger than 6 persons. (Coast Gaurd Laws limit Great Lakes Charter Boats to 6 person per boat maximum). We use only top quality Captains and vessels for are multiple boat charters.

A deposit of $100.00 per trip is required to hold your reservation.Deposits are fully refundable with a minumun 14 day notice. Documentation required:
You will need a current fishing license for the day of the trip. If you do not have one they are available on the boat. Other information:
Book your trip early to usure your specific date and time. Once the season is close the dates fill quickly, especialy the weekends. So once you know when you want to go it's best to call to check availabilty.
